The Bizenghast Adventure Game is a role-playing game of action, adventure, and horror, based on the smash-hit Bizenghast manga series by M. Alice LeGrow. Players take on the roles of agents of the afterlife, charged with capturing ghosts and resolving their problems by entering their troubled dreams. Think Ghostbusters meets Alice in Wonderland.

The Bizenghast Adventure Game is the first in a series of games to use the Epiphany Engine game system. Players create their own guild of supernatural characters and then customize their characters with magic spells, psychic powers, and other paranormal abilities. The characters’ abilities are then tested against a variety of ghostly antagonists, from common lost souls, to demonic “unbearable” entities.

Characters will investigate mysterious hauntings, capture ghosts with magical spells, explore “vaults” inhabited by dreaming spirits, all while dealing with day to day struggles of normal life (school, work, relationships, etc . . .).

This game works great for a single spooky evening, but also supports long-term play with robust character advancement mechanics and plenty of ideas for many nights of chilling, supernatural adventures.
